Looking for wedding shoes to match your wedding gown? The most important thing to remember is that comfort comes first. Here's what to look for when choosing wedding shoes:
Pick wedding shoes that match your wedding dress by considering different options, such as closed-toe shoes with or without a strap, sandals or peep-toe shoes. When seeking out wedding shoes, try to bear in mind that your feet will swell during the wedding day.

Here are five things to consider before you purchase your wedding day shoes.
1. Search for wedding shoes that fit perfect. Try lots on and be realistic!
2. Choose wedding shoes that are as comfortable as possible. You will be on your feet all day even during the wedding dinner – mingling with guests.
3. Always choose wedding shoes that are sturdy enough to last all day. If you're getting married outside, delicate shoes aren't a good idea.
4. Choose wedding shoes that match the color and fabric of your wedding gown, or at least ones that will not clash.
5. Wear your wedding day shoes as much as possible before the wedding. You'll appreciate it when your shoes are comfortable and you'll not be breaking them in the day of the wedding.
White shoes are no longer a prerequisite. If your dress has some pink, blue, or other color in it, dye your shoes to match for a trendy touch.

Think about forgoing the traditional shoes in favor of flip flops, sneakers or ballet flats, especially if your dress is long enough to hide your feet.
